Job summary

Stone Coast Fund Services is seeking a Fund Accounting professional to join our team. The role handles NAV calculations, fund activity reconciliation, expense processing, and investor reporting for hedge funds, with emphasis on accuracy and timely delivery.

The position offers flexible scheduling (12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. EST full-time or part-time in Maine) and remote work options, with competitive pay, a discretionary bonus, and opportunities for growth and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of fund accounting experience for hedge funds.
• Familiarity with hedge fund investments is a plus.
• Experience with portfolio and investor accounting systems, Advent Geneva World Investor a plus.
• Experience with internal control procedures and workflows a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel is a must.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile all portfolio and fund activity for assigned clients.
• Calculate the fund’s NAV adhering to industry standards and internal procedures.
• Allocate profit and loss to investors including management and performance fees.
• Process and record fund expense payments and ensure timely cash wire requests.
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to fund managers and investors.
• Prepare materials for board meetings, financial statements and audits.
