Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Remote Full Stack Developer (MUMPS) to support testing in a healthcare-focused, government-grade environment. The role requires expertise with MUMPS/Cache, HL7/FHIR, and EDI transactions, plus strong test planning and leadership.

You will contribute to test strategy, create detailed test plans, and coordinate across cross-functional teams. This is a 100% U.S.-based remote role, with a focus on quality in mission-critical healthcare systems.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in healthcare, government, or other regulated environments.
• Experience testing enterprise applications supporting clinical, benefits, or healthcare operations.
• Experience supporting legacy applications and long-lived systems.
• Experience testing applications developed using MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache.
• Experience validating healthcare workflows and system functionality.
• Experience developing detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and cases.
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience validating database updates and data integrity.
• Ability to analyze logs, errors, and test results to identify root causes.
• Experience testing interfaces and system integrations.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, HIPAA EDI Transactions.
• Experience validating EDI transactions (278, 275, etc).
• Experience using defect tracking/test management tools.

Aufgaben

• Support testing for healthcare apps in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments.
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures.
• Validate software enhancements, maintenance releases, and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with developers, analysts, product owners, and end users on test objectives.
• Create test data and environments for healthcare workflows.
• Execute manual and automated testing where applicable.
• Track defects, metrics, and risk reports; communicate status.
• Validate VistA/FileMan integrations and healthcare messaging platforms.
• Support root-cause analysis and verification of fixes.
• Review requirements to ensure testability and coverage.
• Lead testing efforts and mentor junior testers.
