Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer (MUMPS) for a 100% remote role. The job focuses on QA/testing of healthcare applications in a MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environment, with emphasis on HL7, FHIR, and EDI interoperability, and production support across legacy systems.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in software testing/QA, a strong SDLC background, and experience mentoring others.

Qualifications

Experience testing MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments.
Experience testing healthcare, government, or other highly regulated environments.
Experience validating healthcare business workflows and system functionality.
Experience developing detailed test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test cases.
Experience performing functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
Experience validating EDI transactions and HL7/FHIR interoperability.
Experience using defect tracking and test management tools.

Responsibilities

Support testing and QA activities for mission-critical healthcare applications in MUMPS/Cache.
Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures.
Validate software enhancements, maintenance releases, and upgrades.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and end users on test objectives.
Analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions.
Test HL7, FHIR, EDI transactions and healthcare interfaces.
Create testing metrics, dashboards, and status reports.
Lead testing efforts and mentor junior testers.
