Job summary

Zwift is seeking a Software Engineer to help rebuild Zwift.com into a modern, reliable growth platform. You’ll contribute to migrating core customer acquisition and authentication journeys, working with a cross-functional team to improve subscription management, e-commerce, and the Zwift platform.

You’ll design and implement high-performance frontend and backend components, advance CI/CD, testing, observability, and SEO, and collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a relevant technical area.
• 2-5 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript or TypeScript and React.
• Experience with server-rendered or hybrid web frameworks; Next.js strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on a cross-functional team to deliver features spanning microservice backend, zwift.com client, e-commerce platform, and admin tooling.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable code in multiple languages and platforms.
• Help establish a supported web-platform foundation including rendering, caching, CDN behavior, CI/CD, observability, testing, and decommissioning legacy functionality.
• Build reusable page templates, CMS integrations for governed self-service publishing.
• Collaborate with engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and pair programming.
• Participate in on-call support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of all services owned by the team.
• Identify technical risks and help build mitigation plans.
• Use AI-assisted development to accelerate analysis, planning, testing, and documentation while maintaining quality.
• Work with engineers and product managers to scope and plan projects.
• Participate in the interview process.
