Job summary

Expression, headquartered in Washington DC, seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and implement web applications using React on the frontend and Express.js on the backend. You will work with GraphQL, REST, and TypeScript to deliver robust software in an Agile setting.

The role is fully remote for US citizens, with optional hybrid on-site work in the DC area. You will mentor teammates, collaborate with data scientists, DevSecOps, and product designers to drive solutions.

Qualifications

• Education: BS/related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong code quality focus with SOLID principles.
• Senior React frontend experience with hooks and styling.
• Senior Express.js backend with GraphQL/REST and ORMs.
• Proficient with TypeScript and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based applications end-to-end.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, review MR feedback.
• Collaborate with data scientists, DevSecOps, and designers.
• Contribute to Agile processes and technical decision-making.
