Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Software Engineer for its Financial Platform. This full-time, remote role focuses on end-to-end development across the stack using Node.js, React.js, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.

You will build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs on AWS, while delivering responsive frontend interfaces and ensuring system reliability and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into shipped features, participate in CI/CD and code

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of hands-on coding in the last year.
• Strong backend development with Node.js and shipping work in the last year.
• Recent frontend experience with React.js and Next.js, including hooks and modern features.
• Solid PostgreSQL knowledge: schema design, indexing, optimization.

Responsibilities

• Write, ship, and maintain production code across fullstack apps using Node.js, React.js, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs on AWS infrastructure.
• Implement responsive frontend interfaces and optimize Postgres queries.
