Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Fullstack Developer to design and own end-to-end systems powering core product workflows. This remote role requires building scalable backend services with Node.js/NestJS and delivering solid React frontends that users rely on daily.

You will optimize PostgreSQL data models, partner with product and design to translate requirements, and uphold engineering quality through code reviews and testing in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Professional experience building and owning production fullstack systems.
• Strong TypeScript experience across frontend and backend.
• Backend expertise with Node.js, preferably NestJS.
• Frontend experience building real products with React.
• Strong command of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end fullstack systems powering core product workflows.
• Architect and build scalable backend services and APIs with clear ownership.
• Develop high-quality frontend interfaces shipped to users.
• Own data modeling and database performance, including schema design and long-term maintainability.
• Partner closely with product and design teams to translate ambiguous requirements into shipped systems.
• Set and uphold engineering quality standards through reviews, testing, and technical leadership.
