Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Software Engineer for micro Platforms to join a remote, full-time team. You will contribute to end-to-end systems and build scalable services and UI components for internal workflows.

The ideal candidate has strong TypeScript, Node.js/NestJS, React experience, and solid PostgreSQL skills. You will work across product, operations, and design to turn ambiguous requirements into robust platforms while improving reliability and developer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building production full‑stack systems (internships, projects, or professional).
• Solid TypeScript fundamentals across frontend and/or backend.
• Familiarity with Node.js, with NestJS as a plus.
• Experience building user interfaces with React or similar.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and core data modeling principles.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of end‑to‑end full‑stack systems powering internal workflows and platform capabilities.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs with clear contracts and ownership.
• Develop high‑quality frontend interfaces used by internal teams and stakeholders.
• Model data and optimize database performance, including schema design and query tuning.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and design to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable systems.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, and developer experience across internal tooling.
