Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote Full-Stack Developer to join an insurtech engineering team. You will design, develop, and deploy robust features for a cutting-edge insurance platform in a remote-first environment.

The role requires strong frontend and backend skills across modern frameworks and languages, plus experience with databases, cloud platforms, and CI/CD. You’ll collaborate globally in iterative, agile ceremonies and contribute to scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven Full-Stack experience with a strong project portfolio.
• Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Back-end experience with Node.js, Python, Java, or C#.
• Solid database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiar with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and remote collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web apps.
• Write clean, well-documented code for front-end and back-end components.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and DB integrations.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into tech solutions.
• Implement automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Ensure security, performance, and scalability of the platform.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and team improvements.
