Job summary

CVS Health is launching an Infrastructure Software Engineering Program (ISEP) to train full‑stack automation engineers and place them into critical IT roles within our Fortune 6 company. This two‑year program blends hands‑on coding with formal training, agile practices, and modern delivery methods.

As a participant you will develop with Python, cloud tools, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices, while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a relevant IT position.
• 6+ months of experience programming, developing, or coding.
• Experience with software engineering and design tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, YAML, algorithms, data structures, front-end design).
• Experience withCI/CD, delivering enterprise-wide applications (e.g., Agile, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with cloud concepts and providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud security.
• Experience with data integration and relational/non-relational databases.
• Experience with cybersecurity and network security (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
• AI/ML concepts strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the support of existing applications and/or development efforts.
• Writing high-quality code compliant with enterprise regulations.
• Proactively monitoring industry trends and identifying opportunities to implement new technologies.
• Creating and executing test scenarios/plans for new and changed components.
• Sharing knowledge openly with IT teams.
• Work within Agile, XP, Kanban delivery frameworks.
