Job summary

Wanderlog is hiring a full-time engineer to help build and scale our web and mobile travel planning products. This is a permanent, full-time role reporting to the co-founders at Wanderlog.

As an engineer, you’ll own portions of the product and be expected to build new features on our website and mobile app using a modern stack (JavaScript/TypeScript, React on web, React Native on mobile, Node.js/Express on the server).

Qualifications

• Proficient in JavaScript development with React/React Native
• Strong product mindset and user-focused thinking
• Willingness to learn diverse tech stacks and tools (Redis, Elasticsearch, Python)

Responsibilities

• Build features for web and mobile apps using TypeScript and React
• Design data pipelines to crawl and process data from various sources
• Write tests and contribute to scalable engineering infrastructure
• Review code and help drive architectural decisions
• Balance speed and technical debt to deliver value efficiently
• Collaborate with co-founders and cross-functional teams
