Job summary

Wanderlog is seeking an engineer to own parts of the product and ship features for our web and mobile apps. Our stack is JavaScript (Typescript): React on the web, React Native on mobile, and Node.js/Express on the server.

You’ll design what to build to help travelers and drive growth, build data pipelines to crawl, process, and synthesize data from various sources around the web, write tests, review code, and scale the infrastructure as it grows.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of full-stack product development experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React/React Native skills.
• Experience building data pipelines and web data processing.
• Experience writing tests and maintaining typed, well-tested code.

Responsibilities

• Own portions of Wanderlog’s product and build features for web and mobile.
• Prototype and implement features using React/React Native and Node.js.
• Design features to help travelers and drive growth.
• Build data pipelines to crawl and process data from the web.
• Write tests, fix bugs, and review peers’ code.
