Job summary

Stripe is hiring for the Startup Products team to build Stripe Atlas and related founder-focused tools that help startups form, raise capital, and operate quickly. You will craft end-to-end product experiences, from design and architecture to code and rollout, for founders starting companies globally.

We value collaboration with designers, product managers, lawyers, and analysts, and seek engineers who delight users and ship polished software while scaling it for broad adoption.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Frontend and backend generalist.
• Strong user experience focus.
• Ability to design scalable solutions.
• Collaborative with designers, PMs, lawyers, analysts.
• Maintain high quality and ship products.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain, user-facing experiences, services, APIs, and systems.
• Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation.
• Scrutinize, reason clearly, and make decisions about the technology and architecture choices we make in building these products.
• Talk with and learn from our users (founders in the first days of starting their company).
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
