Stripe is building financial infrastructure to power the internet. The Startup Products team supports Stripe Atlas and other tools to help founders start and run their company from anywhere in the world.

We’re seeking a versatile software engineer with 3+ years in full‑stack development who can ship user‑facing experiences, APIs, and services while collaborating across design, product, and legal teams. Hybrid work options available in the US.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Enjoy being a generalist working on both the frontend and backend.
• Care deeply about the user experience and build products that delight users.
• Prefer simple, scalable designs with good intuition for durability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain user-facing experiences, services, APIs, and systems.
• Make tradeoffs considering business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation.
• Scrutinize and reason about architecture decisions for our products.
• Talk with and learn from founders using Stripe Atlas and other tools.
• Debug production issues across services and stack levels.
