Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and support modern digital experiences across frontend and backend using React, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka, and MuleSoft. You will lead a new UX/CX development team to build the next generation of customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with AWS cloud-based development and deployment.
• Proficiency with GitHub, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support full stack applications using frontend and backend technologies.
• Develop scalable experience API services, REST APIs, and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, MuleSoft, and related technologies.
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems, data platforms, and event-driven architectures using Kafka, MuleSoft, and cloud services.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, analysts, designers, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, design discussions, code reviews, and CI/CD delivery practices.
