Job summary

RTX is seeking a remote-enabled Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications. You will work across front-end and back-end using React.js, Python, and Node.js, with cloud deployment on AWS and Azure, and you will integrate APIs, AI features including RAG, and DevOps practices for secure, compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies in a regulated environment, delivering end-to-end enterprise-grade solutions

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience developing applications using React.js, Python, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools, such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with front-end development, including responsive design and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with back-end development, RESTful APIs, and SQL database integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using React.js for front-end development and Python and Node.js for back-end services.
• Build and deploy applications on AWS and Azure cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Write clean, testable, efficient, and maintainable code with comprehensive documentation to support long-term development.
• Integrate APIs and microservices to support secure, enterprise-grade applications.
• Design, query, and optimize SQL databases and data storage solutions.
• Implement version control, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.
• Leverage AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), to enhance application capabilities and workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies to promote engineering best practices.
• Develop secure solutions in a highly regulated environment while ensuring compliance with applicable security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges, navigate ambiguity, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
