Job summary

RTX is seeking a software engineer to code and test programming for in-house software programs. The role involves debugging, troubleshooting, and promoting systems across local, development, test, and production environments.

The successful candidate will balance multiple projects, respond to staff support requests, and escalate issues to the Project Manager/Supervisor. Participation in scrum and code reviews is required.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant work.
• Advanced degree in related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript and C#.
• Experience with React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Experience with Node.js, .NET or Django.
• U.S. citizenship required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Code and test programming for in-house software programs.
• Debug code for existing applications.
• Troubleshoot system bugs and issues.
• Promote systems across local, development, test, and production environments.
• Balance workday between multiple projects and respond to support requests from staff.
• Escalate issues and concerns to Project Manager/Supervisor.
