Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a seasoned Full Stack Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines for telematics and mobility analytics. The role emphasizes end-to-end data flow, standardization, and robust governance using GCP tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataform.

You will collaborate with data and application architects to drive reliable, cost-effective data solutions from ingestion to insight across the U.S..

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a related field with 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• 2 years experience with Kafka, OpenShift, and Dataflow for telematics data pipelines.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot for streaming and ingestion of vehicle data.
• Database solutions with Spanner, PostgreSQL, and BigQuery for scalable analytics.
• End-to-end GCP data projects using Apache Beam, Airflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Build.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion and curation pipelines.
• Ensure data quality, standardization, and efficient analytics readiness.
• Build data pipelines using Python, SQL, DBT/Dataform, and modern tooling.
• Contribute to end-to-end data platform integration from source to insight.
• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to promote best practices.
