Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Application Design and Development to lead the delivery of complex, multi-platform UI/UX initiatives. You will define requirements, design interfaces, and guide teams across front-end, back-end, and data domains while working with clients and stakeholders to ensure high quality outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, advocate for best practices, and contribute to the architectural direction of distributed services and AI-enabled platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (4-year).
• Typically, 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• API design and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Authentication/authorization with Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure AD.
• Experience with data visualization tools and commercial dashboards.
• Familiarity with TDD and unit testing.
• Experience with complex codebases and frontend performance practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define user requirements; develop UI across platforms (mobile, web, tablet).
• Engage in coding, programming, and creating specifications to deliver development services.
• Lead delivery of processes, solutions, and projects with emphasis on quality and risk.
• Coordinate with external clients and lead workstreams from planning through execution.
