Job summary

CHENEGA INDUSTRIAL GROUP, LLC is seeking a Site Superintendent - Fuels for 100% remote telework. The role focuses on field management of fuel projects, coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure safety, schedule, and compliance with USACE EM 385-1-1 and DoD fuel designs.

Responsibilities include overseeing procurement, staff leadership, RFIs, and risk mitigation. Requires five years in aviation fueling systems, two years on DoD fuels projects, OSHA 30, USACE

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ aviation fueling system maintenance and construction experience.
• Minimum two years working on DOD fuels projects.
• OSHA 30 hour Safety Course certification.
• USACE QCM Course certificate.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Background check with favorable record.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Managers to select, coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors and field assignments effectively.
• Maintain clear communication with the project team, clients and subcontractors regarding project status, issues and potential changes.
• Oversee material procurement, equipment maintenance and resource allocation for timely completion.
• Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with team members, vendors, management and other departments.
• Monitor and report field execution status with Project Manager and CIG/Fuels leadership.
• Assist the Project Manager in RFIs to remedy site issues quickly and cost effectively.
• Foresee obstacles, risks and constraints and plan around them.
• Ensure staff follow the USACE 3 phase inspection process.
• Direct enforcement of the site-specific safety plan.
