Job summary

SES Energy Services LLC is seeking an experienced Fuels Estimator to join our team. The position is remote with occasional travel, focusing on preparing detailed estimates for fuels construction projects based on plans, specs, and scopes of work.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in fuels/federal project estimation, familiarity with Bid2Win/HCSS/InEight, and strong MS Office proficiency. Responsibilities include risk assessment, vendor quotes, and constructability reviews in a dynamic home-office

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience as estimator or project manager in fuels and fueling systems.
Experience estimating federal projects is highly favorable.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes of work, and project schedules.
Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering desirable.
Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
Military fueling services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Produce direct-perform and subcontracted fuels and heavy civil cost estimates with crew assemblies and production rates.
Base estimates on experience working for fuels contractors, preferably with federal installations.
Provide quantity takeoffs and detailed cost breakdowns.
Seek and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value.
Identify risks and develop mitigation plans and a risk matrix.
Coordinate with project team to address constructability and bid-day considerations.
