Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company building privacy-aware consumer experiences with a modern web stack (React, TypeScript). The Software Engineer II in MPE will contribute to high-traffic web experiences, experimentations, and marketing integrations, collaborating across product, design, and analytics as part of a strong team.

You will break down projects, ship in phases, monitor metrics, and engage in growth activities including interview involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping web apps with declarative UI frameworks (React/Vue).
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to take ownership and ship end-to-end features with robust tests.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases with timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design & analytics on ideation and trade-offs.
• Support ops/availability by monitoring metrics and on-call responsibilities.
• Engage in growth and interview processes to build team capability.
