Job summary

JobCubby is seeking a Frontend PHP Developer to design and build responsive, accessible public-facing portal UI for data exploration and visualization. You will integrate geospatial maps, charts, and RESTful APIs within an Agile team.

The role focuses on delivering interactive UI components, ensuring accessibility compliance, and collaborating with backend developers. Remote work from Mountain Time zones is supported for a short-term project.

Qualifications

• Experience with PHP and frontend development in Agile environments.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript.
• Experience with Chart.js or D3.js and writing unit/integration tests with Jest.
• Knowledge of ADA/Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, accessible public-facing portal UI for data exploration and visualization.
• Implement interactive UI components: tree navigation, query builder, filter panels, visualization controls.
• Integrate geospatial maps via ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and REST endpoints.
• Build interactive charts with Chart.js or D3.js for time-series, bar, and multi-series views.
• Ensure ADA/Section 508 WCAG compliance with automated tests; CI/CD gates.
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest; participate in Agile ceremonies.
