Job summary

JobCubby is seeking a Frontend PHP Developer to design and develop responsive, accessible public-facing portal UIs for data exploration and visualization. The role includes building interactive UI components, integrating visualizations, consuming RESTful APIs, and ensuring accessibility compliance in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities include geospatial map visualizations with ArcGIS Maps SDK, chart visualizations with Chart.js or D3.js, and automated accessibility testing as part of CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Experience with PHP and frontend development.
• Experience delivering in Agile ceremonies.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating REST endpoints.
• Experience with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and chart libraries Chart.js or D3.js.
• Experience writing unit/integration tests with Jest.
• Proficiency in accessibility compliance (ADA/ WCAG 2.1 AA).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, accessible public-facing portal UIs for data exploration and visualization.
• Implement interactive UI components, including tree navigation, query builders, filter panels, and visualization controls.
• Integrate geospatial visualizations using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript via REST endpoints.
• Build interactive charts with Chart.js or D3.js for time-series and multi-series views.
• Ensure ADA/Section 508/WCAG 2.1 AA compliance across pages with automated testing.
• Collaborate with backend developers to define API contracts and optimize frontend performance.
• Write Jest tests for frontend components and integrate tests into CI/CD.
