GovCIO is hiring a Frontend Developer to build and modernize federal applications on an AWS GovCloud stack. The role starts focused on frontend work and grows into full-stack duties, with a remote option across the CONUS.

You will work with designers, backend developers, and DevOps in an agile team, delivering accessible, secure user interfaces and evolving into Python/AWS backend work over time.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related STEM field with 5–10 years frontend/full‑stack experience.
• Minimum 5 years of JavaScript development and 2+ years with React/Redux.
• Experience building frontends with REST APIs on serverless AWS backend.
• Proficiency in CSS/SASS and accessibility standards.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain React/Redux apps with JavaScript.
• Integrate frontends with REST APIs on AWS API Gateway/Lambda.
• Grow into backend work with Python on AWS serverless tech.
• Incorporate AI features and ensure security and accessibility compliance.
• Write tests (Cypress/Jest) and manage PRs in GitHub.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and document work in Jira.
