Job summary

Wealthfront is seeking a Software Engineer for the Frontend team to design and develop client-facing features using our Design System components. You will also work on infrastructure and developer productivity across the web platform.

You will join a cross-functional scrum team, collaborating with backend and mobile engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver features with a focus on performance and usability.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a web-focused engineering role.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with CSS for responsive layouts and page speed performance.
• Experience with test-driven development and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend, mobile, designers, and product managers to build features.
• Triage and resolve web platform issues to ensure reliability.
• Contribute to web platform infrastructure to improve health and delivery velocity.
• Participate in recruiting activities and interview candidates.
• Mentor other engineers on the team.
