Hired is hiring a Frontend Engineer to build accessible, performant interfaces. You will partner with design and product to translate ideas into shipped UI — the surface customers actually touch.

This fully remote, full-time role offers a competitive salary ($95k–$160k USD) and benefits, with a focus on React or Vue, modern CSS, and strong craft. You’ll work across time zones and contribute to design systems.

Qualifications

• 3 years building production frontend applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Vue, and modern CSS.
• Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Pinia, or similar).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and testing tools.
• Understanding of web performance optimisation.
• Strong design sensibility and care for craft.

Responsibilities

• Build user interfaces in React, Vue, or similar modern framework
• Translate design specs into pixel-accurate, accessible, performant code
• Maintain and evolve the design system and shared component library
• Optimise frontend performance, including bundle size and Core Web Vitals
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering practices
• Partner closely with designers and product managers throughout the build cycle
