Job summary

SMX is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer - Front End Web Applications to contribute to the Budget and Spend (BAS) solution. This is a remote role supporting a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance. Responsibilities include building dashboards and interactive UI components using SAP Analytics Cloud, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.

You will review requirements, implement features, optimize performance, and participate in code reviews. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software engineering across front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
Experience building and consuming REST APIs; JSON/XML.
Strong OO programming/design and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Public Trust clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Build enterprise planning and reporting apps using SAP Analytics Cloud or other web tech.
Review requirements and interface designs.
Develop and implement highly interactive UI/UX components.
Monitor and improve front-end performance.
Document changes and updates to the application.
Provide feedback on UI/UX feasibility and technical design.
Optimize applications for scalability and speed.
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with teammates.
