SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Application to contribute to the design, build, and support of the BAS solution. This remote role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires Public Trust clearance.

The candidate will develop enterprise web apps using JavaScript, SAC Analytics Designer, and modern front-end tech, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable UI components.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 2 years of front-end software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience with REST APIs and data formats (JSON/XML).
• Strong OOP/Design and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Build enterprise planning and reporting applications using SAC Analytics Designer or other web technologies.
• Review application requirements and interface designs.
• Develop and implement highly interactive UI/UX components.
• Monitor and improve front-end performance.
• Document application changes and develop updates.
• Provide feedback on the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize web applications for scalability and speed.
• Participate in code reviews and communicate effectively with team members.
