Job summary

Cedar is seeking a mid-level Front-End Engineer to build the consumer-facing web app using React, TypeScript, and Next.js. You will leverage AI tooling to accelerate delivery while maintaining a high bar for code quality and accessibility.

You’ll work closely with design and product teams to turn complex financial logic into intuitive, trustworthy interfaces. The role emphasizes ownership from day one, growth opportunities, and a collaborative, results-driven culture in a remote-first

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production web apps with React and TypeScript.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills with responsive design for mobile.
• Experience with APIs (REST/GraphQL) and testing as part of the build.
• Interest in AI tooling and willingness to push it further.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with product and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the consumer-facing web app in React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Leverage AI tooling to ship quickly and improve over time.
• Write tests and ensure code quality; root-cause bugs when they occur.
• Translate dense financial logic into clear, trusted UI for users.
• Collaborate with design and product from ideation to shipped UI.
• Own features end-to-end from build to release and monitor usage.
• Maintain high standards in code reviews and testing.
