Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is seeking a Senior Engineer - Digital Experience to shape how Nebraskans engage with their health coverage through cohesive, omnichannel digital experiences.

You will partner with marketing, analytics, architecture, and CX teams to build reusable front-end capabilities for web, mobile, email, and other channels, while prioritizing security and privacy.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience building production digital experiences across web and mobile.
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks including React and React Native.
• Experience designing reusable front-end architectures and micro frontend patterns.
• Familiarity with APIs, analytics, marketing platforms, and headless CMS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality front-end solutions for web, mobile, and marketing-driven experiences.
• Own end-to-end digital capabilities from design handoff to release, monitoring, and support.
• Develop reusable front-end architecture with shared components and micro frontends.
• Apply data-driven insights from analytics and testing to improve experiences.
• Collaborate with marketing, CX, product, and backend teams to implement cohesive solutions.
• Ensure security, privacy, and accessibility best practices in regulated environments.
• Participate in on-call rotation approximately every 12–14 weeks.
