Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to architect seamless healthcare applications, from polished front-ends to high-performance backends. You will own UI, logic, and data as a single cohesive system, collaborating closely with product, design, QA, security and platform teams.

The role requires 7+ years in full stack development, experience with modern front-end frameworks, and backend APIs across multiple languages.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full stack development.
• BA/BS or equivalent IT experience.
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building backend services and APIs with multiple languages.
• Strong SQL and/or NoSQL database knowledge and RESTful integrations.
• Cloud-native app development with Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable.
• Familiarity with IaC tools and containerization (Docker).
• Experience with CI/CD and version control systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools in professional development.
• Experience in regulated environments (healthcare) is a plus.
