Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is seeking a Senior Engineer – Digital Experience to design and build modern front-end solutions across web and mobile. You will own end-to-end delivery from design through deployment, with reusable architecture and shared UI components to enable cohesive omnichannel experiences.

You will leverage analytics and experimentation to tailor experiences, apply security and accessibility best practices, and collaborate with marketing, CX, product, and backend

Qualifications

• 3–5 years building production digital experiences across web and mobile.
• Strong experience with React and React Native.
• Design and develop reusable front-end architectures with shared components or micro frontends.
• Integrate front-end with APIs, data analytics, marketing platforms, and headless CMS.
• Knowledge of web/mobile security, privacy, and accessibility in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus) and CI/CD practices.
• Experience using AI-driven tools to accelerate design and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, delightful digital solutions for web, mobile, and marketing initiatives.
• Own digital capabilities end-to-end from design handoff to release and monitoring.
• Develop reusable front-end architecture with micro frontends and shared components.
• Apply data-driven decision making using analytics and experimentation.
• Innovate with AI to accelerate design, development, and personalization.
• Collaborate with digital marketing, CX, product, architecture, and backend teams.
• Integrate front-end solutions with APIs, data, analytics, and headless CMS.
• Join on-call rotations approximately every 12–14 weeks for two weeks.
