Job summary

Orbiss Inc. is seeking a mid- to senior-level accounting professional to manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the full accounting cycle in a timely, accurate manner.

You will prepare financial statements, perform variance analyses, and deliver executive summaries that highlight financial health and KPIs. The role emphasizes process improvements, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
• Technical accounting expertise in bookkeeping, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and close procedures.
• Strong financial reporting skills across monthly, quarterly, and annual periods.
• Familiarity with US GAAP is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients.
• Oversee the end-to-end accounting cycle including day-to-day bookkeeping, monthly closings, year-end financial statements, and compliance deadlines.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform variance analysis and trend identification to support advisory insights.
• Deliver executive summaries to clients, highlighting financial health and KPIs.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including intercompany transactions and accruals.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and propose corrective actions.
