Job summary

Orbiss Inc. in Atlanta, GA is hiring an Accountant and Advisory Senior to manage a client portfolio from bookkeeping to year-end closing, including bank reconciliations, closing journal entries, and P&L analysis.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, detect discrepancies, optimize systems, and mentor junior staff. The role emphasizes intercompany reconciliation and consolidation, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Completion of a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Strong technical accounting skills including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, journal entries and P&L analysis.
• Proficiency in financial reporting with monthly/quarterly/annual statements.
• Analytical mindset to detect inaccuracies and investigate discrepancies.
• Experience with intercompany reconciliation and transactions between entities.
• Experience in financial consolidation processes.

Responsibilities

• Managing a client portfolio from bookkeeping to year-end closing, including bank reconciliation, closing journal entries, P&L analysis, and supporting schedules.
• Creating timely and accurate accounting reports on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
• Detecting inaccuracies and investigating account discrepancies.
• Proposing recommendations to optimize accounting systems and procedures.
• Managing intercompany reconciliation and participating in consolidation processes.
• Leading and mentoring junior team members.
