Job summary

TylSemi, Inc. is seeking a Power Architecture Lead for PMIC to own the IVR architecture end-to-end, including power conversion topology, digital control engine and analog subsystems.

You will work with the Head of Engineering, engage foundry partners and customers at the architecture level. You must have 15+ years in power IC architecture, 5+ years at principal level, with deep expertise in multi-phase buck converters, mixed-signal design, IP evaluation and DFT.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in power IC architecture and PMIC-focused design.
• Deep expertise in multi-phase synchronous buck converters and efficiency optimization.
• Fluency in mixed-signal IC design and analog/digital co-design.
• Experience driving tape-outs from architecture through silicon bring-up.
• Strong packaging familiarity with in-package inductors and related constraints.
• Proven ability to lead IP evaluation and DFT strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define IVR architecture including topology, phase configurability, and efficiency targets.
• Shape the digital control engine and transient response for AI workloads.
• Oversee analog subsystems like gate drivers and current sensing.
• Coordinate with foundries and customers on requirements and proof-of-concept.
• Lead IP evaluation and packaging integration decisions.
• Drive roadmap, trade studies, and silicon bring-up.
