Job summary

TylSemi, Inc. is seeking a PMIC Architect in San Jose to own the IVR power architecture end-to-end—from topology and control to integration with analog/digital blocks. You will partner with the Head of Engineering, design leads, and foundry teams to deliver scalable PMIC solutions for AI compute platforms.

The role requires deep expertise in multi-phase buck converters, mixed-signal design, and power substrate integration, with a track record of silicon bring-up and IP evaluation.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in PMIC architecture and power delivery
• Experience bringing up silicon and evaluating IP blocks
• Strong background in multi‑domain packaging and heat dissipation

Responsibilities

• Define IVR architecture: multi-phase interleaved buck, configurability, efficiency targets
• Oversee digital control engine design and balance for AI workloads
• Lead analog subsystem requirements: gate drivers, sensing, diodes, clocking
• Drive IP evaluation, tape-out readiness, and packaging integration
• Interface with customers and foundries to translate power needs into specs
