Job summary

Hamby & Hengeli LLC seeks an Operations Officer to design and scale the systems, processes, and infrastructure enabling our professional services team to serve clients without friction. You will translate between IT/security providers and staff, ensuring tools are used effectively and new tools are rolled out smoothly.

The role emphasizes building from scratch, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing improvement, with flexible work options in a remote-friendly, Texas-based firm.

Qualifications

Extremely organized and able to build systems from scratch.
Comfortable driving change and implementing new processes.
Strong communication with staff, leadership and vendors.
Experience shaping operations in professional services or audit environments.

Responsibilities

Act as primary liaison between outsourced IT/security and firm staff.
Own internal software ecosystem and help staff use tools effectively.
Lead evaluation and rollout of new software and AI tools, with training support.
Maintain documentation on system access, licensing, and ownership.
Design and document SOPs for firm-wide processes and onboarding.
