Job summary

Matrix Technologies, a 100% employee‑owned engineering and digital transformation company, is hiring a Graphic Designer to join our team in one of eight U.S. offices, including Indianapolis, IN.

The role focuses on designing proposals, marketing collateral, and brand-aligned visuals for internal and external audiences. You will collaborate with engineering, construction, and automation teams, manage multiple projects concurrently, and maintain brand standards while delivering clear, visually

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years of graphic design experience (preferably in architecture/engineering/construction)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for proposal environments
• Strong portfolio showing layout design, branding, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear visuals
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Ability to manage multiple proposals and marketing projects with quick turnaround
• Travel up to 10–15% may be required

Responsibilities

• Design visually compelling proposals, qualification packages, presentations, and pursuit materials.
• Create graphics, diagrams, and visuals that explain engineering services and processes.
• Collaborate with proposal writers, project managers, and SMEs to translate technical info into professional layouts.
• Format and refine documents in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.
• Develop templates, cover designs, infographics, and project sheets to support competitive positioning.
