Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team across our 8 office locations (Maumee, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Peachtree City, GA; Overland Park, KS; Edina, MN; Raleigh, NC; Westminster, CO).

The salaried role includes eligibility for overtime pay and collaboration with marketing, engineering, and other departments to design graphics and collateral that communicate complex concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years of graphic design experience (architecture/engineering/construction industry preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for proposal environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating layout design, branding, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into simple visuals.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals and marketing projects with quick turnaround times.
• May require travel, locally and overnight, ~10–15%.

Responsabilités

• Design proposals, qualification packages, presentations, and pursuit materials aligning with brand standards.
• Create graphics, diagrams, and visual storytelling elements explaining engineering services and project approaches.
• Collaborate with proposal writers, project managers, and subject-matter experts to translate complex information into accessible layouts.
• Format and refine proposal documents in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.
• Develop templates, cover designs, infographics, and project sheets to enhance competitive positioning.
• Produce digital and print marketing materials (brochures, one-pagers, email graphics, displays, posters, social assets).
• Ensure consistent brand presence across materials and internal teams.
• Update brand assets library and design templates.
• Support internal communications with presentation decks and event collateral.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and automation teams to understand projects.
• Manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Follow brand guidelines while contributing fresh creative ideas.
• Assist with administrative design tasks (file organization, template updates, content formatting).

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field

1-3 years of graphic design experience (architecture, engineering, or construction industry preferred)

Strong portfolio demonstrating layout design, branding, and visual storytelling

Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into simple, clean visuals

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management abilities
