Job summary

The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking a Senior Director, Procurement to establish and lead its enterprise-wide procurement function. Reporting to the CFO, this leader will shape procurement strategy, governance, operating model, and capabilities to optimize spending, supplier performance, and contract lifecycle management.

As the founding leader, you will define capabilities, staffing models, and build the team while expanding as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, economics, finance, law, or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of experience in procurement/supply chain, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven success developing and executing enterprise procurement/strategic sourcing strategies in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise-wide procurement strategy aligned with organizational priorities and finance objectives.
• Establish the procurement function structure, staffing, policies, and governance; recruit and develop the team.
• Lead end-to-end procurement lifecycle including demand planning, sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and leaders to align procurement with business, legal, and risk requirements.
• Create enterprise KPIs, reporting, and governance for spend visibility and supplier performance.
