Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney in a consulting capacity for a civil defense practice with a national footprint. The role offers a salary range of $100,000 to $200,000 per year and a remote-flexible collaborative environment, with on-site support in Cherry Hill, New Jersey as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctor degree, be admitted to the New Jersey Bar, and bring at least 2 years of litigation or advisory experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing in New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of litigation or advisory experience.
• Strong legal research and deposition preparation or participation.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical reasoning, and communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate complex information and provide practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Draft and review memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, including witness preparation and questioning.
• Support litigation strategy through case assessment and risk evaluation.
• Advise clients and teams on procedural requirements and potential actions.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with supervising and outside counsel, experts, and stakeholders.
• Stay current on relevant laws and regulations.
• Uphold ethics and client confidentiality.
