Job summary

Michigan State University College of Engineering seeks an Admissions Visit Coordinator to help plan and execute admissions programming and events in collaboration with campus partners. You will manage records, respond to student inquiries, and support evaluation and improvements of programs.

You will work with marketing on event materials and help train staff for campus events, while ensuring safety compliance across all activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a four-year college degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business, or related field and 1–3 years of related events work.
• Proficiency with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, desktop publishing and/or presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, execution and evaluation of Admissions programming.
• Maintain records for admissions projects and events.
• Serve as liaison with campus constituents and primary contact for student/guest questions for admissions programs.
• Collaborate with marketing on event publications, evaluations, and post-event notes.
• Create and deliver staff training for campus events.
• Maintain Health and Safety compliance with University/state/federal rules.
• Track inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain required materials.
