Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a freelance Principal Enterprise Architect to lead detailed architecture work within financial services assessments. You will work directly with the engagement partner and deliver current-to-future architectures, map data flows, and test evidence behind business cases.

Assignments may average around 16 days across an eight week assessment, primarily remote within the UK with occasional client meetings agreed in advance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise architecture assessments in financial services or regulated environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, data platforms and system integration.
• Able to connect technical choices with business priorities, supplier arrangements and cost.

Responsibilities

• Review architecture diagrams and inventories.
• Interview technology and business owners to test evidence behind current setup.
• Map key systems, data flows, dependencies and ownership.
• Develop practical future architecture and compare delivery options.
• Estimate work, costs and dependencies for proposed changes.
• Write findings and recommendations for technology leaders and executives.
