Job summary

Multipli Federal Credit Union in Jefferson City, MO seeks a Member Protections Specialist to detect, investigate and prevent fraudulent activity in member accounts. You will analyze data, conduct interviews, gather evidence, secure accounts and prepare detailed reports for management or law enforcement.

You will serve as the primary contact for staff and members on fraud disputes, process card disputes within Regulation E timelines, and coordinate loss recovery while staying current on fraud

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of fraud detection or related experience.
• Two-year college degree or equivalent certification/licensing.
• Strong communication, discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage, track, investigate and respond to member fraud claims.
• Process credit and debit card disputes within Regulation E timelines.
• Coordinate recovery of losses due to fraud.
• Maintain knowledge of fraud trends and assist with training.
• Prepare well documented case files and narratives for investigations.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
