Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company focused on delivering transparent, low-cost consumer financing. We seek a senior analytics professional to own fraud performance for depository products and lead data-driven strategies across Product, Engineering, ML, and Risk.

You will build data models, develop dashboards, and refine rules and thresholds to balance loss prevention with customer experience. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of analytics experience.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency.
• Ability to collaborate across many teams in the organization.
• Experience with fraud, risk, or financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own fraud performance for depository products, monitoring losses, approval rates, false positives, and customer friction.
• Build and maintain scalable data models and transformation pipelines (DBT) to standardize fraud and operations data.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and monitoring frameworks to track fraud performance and risks.
• Lead cross-functional partnerships with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Eng, Fraud Ops, and Risk to improve fraud strategies.
