Job summary

Eqvilent seeks a highly skilled FPGA Engineer to join its High-Frequency Trading team. You will design, implement, and optimize FPGA-based systems to power ultra-low-latency trading, collaborating with software engineers, researchers, and traders to deliver high-performance hardware.

Preferred candidates hold a degree in Electrical Engineering with strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills and experience with Xilinx Vivado and FPGA debugging tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• /n
• Strong Verilog/SystemVerilog knowledge and FPGA design experience.
• /n
• Experience with FPGA toolchains and debugging utilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize FPGA-based solutions for ultra-low-latency trading systems.
• Work closely with software developers to integrate FPGA solutions into broader system architectures.
• Implement hardware-accelerated solutions for protocol parsing, order entry, and market data processing.
• Perform timing analysis, timing closures, resource optimization, and latency measurements to ensure peak performance.
• Collaborate with traders and researchers to identify opportunities.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance in a live trading environment.
