Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise FPGA-based solutions for low‑latency trading systems
• Implement high-performance data paths, network interfaces, and market data processing pipelines
• Work closely with software engineers and quantitative researchers to translate trading strategies into hardware
• Optimise timing, throughput, and resource utilization across FPGA platforms
• Participate in architecture decisions and contribute to system‑level design
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware/firmware issues in production environments
• Stay current with the latest FPGA tools, techniques, and industry trends

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with FPGA development (VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog)
• Proven track record in low‑latency or high‑performance systems
• Experience with FPGA toolchains (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus)
• Solid understanding of digital design, timing analysis, and hardware architecture
• Familiarity with networking protocols (Ethernet, TCP/UDP) and high‑speed interfaces
