Job summary

Mercor seeks an FP&A Expert for a remote contract role at a rate of $100 per hour. You will own planning cycles, build budgets, reforecasts, and KPI-driven analyses to support strategic decisions.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in FP&A, advanced Excel, and exposure to planning platforms like Anaplan, Adaptive, or Pigment. This role is fully remote and offers scheduling flexibility for international collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in FP&A at an operating company with ownership of a plan or reforecast cycle.
• Advanced Excel modeling with ability to explain variances, not just compute them.

Responsibilities

• Build bottoms-up annual budgets and multi-year long-range plans with consolidation and approvals.
• Produce rolling reforecasts of P&L, cash flow, and KPIs reflecting actuals and updated drivers.
• Develop headcount and capital expenditure plans with hiring pacing, project approvals, payback, and prioritization.
• Produce monthly management reporting packs with variance commentary and profitability analysis using cost allocation methodology.
• Forecast revenue from bookings, pipeline coverage, and demand signals, and document model drivers and assumptions.
