athenahealth is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning across multiple service lines. You will translate complex financial information into actionable insights for the CEO, CFO, and leadership teams.

The role can be based at our Boston, MA headquarters or work remotely within the US. You will build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, drive ongoing improvements, and partner with executives to guide strategic decisions

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of progressive finance experience.
• Exceptional financial analytics background with advanced modeling skills.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.
• Own the end-to-end planning process: annual budgeting, long-range planning, rolling forecasts.
• Champion FP&A best practices and drive process improvements in forecasting and reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models for investments, product lines, cost centers, and companies.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards.
